I’ve created this course because I wanted to share with you some relevant, useful, transforming,tried and tested techniques in terms of behaviours, mindset, habits, perspective, attitudes to help us to prevent stress occurring in the first place, or to manage it if it has started to become a problem. We can then work towards making the most of ourselves and living our best lives. If we’re getting stressed more often than we think is good for us, then we’re unlikely to be able to do that.

It’s not always easy, but I believe that we can, we do have it within ourselves, to discover – or rediscover – and find our way to be who we are, and want to be. Life gets in the way, things happen to us, but we can get in our own way too and be our own worst enemies sometimes. This course is looking at how we can prevent that happening.

The course is for anyone looking to prevent or manage stress, and manage their emotions, in practical and straightforward ways, so that you can make the most of yourself and situations, and ensure that challenge doesn’t become adversity. You’ll then be in a better position to be who you are and want to be.

It’s made up of a number of brief videos, from ‘thinking skills’ to relaxation/breathing techniques to exercises in self-compassion and self-belief. There’s a workbook too to accompany the course, with which you’ll practice the techniques as we go along.

To this end, on completion of the course, you’ll put together an action plan of how you’re going to start implementing these changes and practicing the techniques you’ve learned herein.
